Sometimes people can live a fullfilling life, have a lot of friends, and still not find ‘The One’. Rick did.
I think all of Rick’s friends back in the day can attest to his fortitude in pursuing Luisa. I honestly didn’t believe it would happen. Rick did. And when it finally did happen, we all realized there were never two people more perfect for each other.
I’ve loved watching the evolution of their life together and marriage. I smiled so big when I read a recent post from Lu about how lucky she was to have a great husband who loved her and her dogs. It always cracked me up seeing Rick snuggling up to the labs. He seemed like he was in heaven.
